Buying a new self defense tool is tough.
There’s so many things to consider, like what you plan to do with it, all its features, where you’re allowed to take it, and, most importantly, the price.
Finding something that meets all your needs can be a bit of a challenge sometimes.
Luckily, there are some tools that might be just what you’re looking for. While the Hoffman Richter Stinger tactical pen might not meet every need you have, it’ll come pretty close.
With dependable, sturdy design, versatility in its uses, concealability for an element of surprise, and a very small price tag, it’s sure to serve you well in whatever capacity you might need it for.
Let’s take a look at what makes the Hoffman Richter Stinger tactical pen so special in more detail.
The Hoffman Richter Stinger tactical pen is a seriously cool piece of equipment.
Hand machined from a single high-quality piece of aircraft-grade aluminum and coated in impact resistant black titanium, this pen is nearly indestructible when hit with the kind of wear and tear you’d expect to face over many years of use, both as a pen and as a self defense weapon.
In order to even think of breaking it, you’ll really have to go out of your way to punish this thing in some cruel and unusual ways. Not only that, it manages all this while being exceptionally lightweight and easy to carry.
The bottom end of this pen is designed as a super strong beveled glass breaking edge. Coming to a rounded point, a single strike from this pen can shatter a window just as easily as it can shatter someone’s jaw bone.
Using the pen’s cap as a thumb rest, you’ll have a great degree of control over your striking power, unafraid to hold back due to the pen’s sturdy construction.
Speaking of the cap, it’s equipped with a durable steel pocket clip to help you keep track of your pen. Unlikely to slip off once you’ve decided where to attach your pen, you’ll never have to fear losing your weapon in times of crisis.
Not only that, the clip is designed specifically with grooves to rest your pinky finger in when gripping the pen as a self defense tool, helping you keep a firm grip in the midst of an emergency.
Beneath the cap is a quality writing instrument. A black ballpoint ink cartridge is preloaded into this pen, producing crisp writing and lasting for many hours of work.
Textured knurling around the grip helps you keep a firm hold on the pen as you write, making it just as convenient to write with this tactical pen as it is to attack with it.
If you’re thinking of buying your own Hoffman Richter Stinger tactical pen, you can find it on Amazon for just $10.95.
Free shipping is offered if your total order is $25 or more.
The best way to find out what it’s really like to use something, though, is by looking at reviews.
Here are two reviews straight from Amazon – one good and one bad – to give you a more complete idea of what the good and bad points of the Hoffman Richter Stinger tactical pen actually are.
This is an extremely well made item that everyone should have on them at all times. When a gun or knife is just not practical, this could very well save your life. This is a well made, sturdy, item that I will enjoy carrying at all times for a very long time. I highly recommend this to all of my current or former LEO brothers and sisters as well as any civilian interested in protecting themselves.
Originally gave this 4 stars but have to revise down to 1. After infrequent light use (as a pen only) over the last year, the cap won’t stay on. The cap is held on by a rubber o-ring inside the cap. If it comes out, which mine did with normal infrequent use, the lid is too loose to stay on. It’s impossible to fix. I originally bought 4 of them for gifts and only 1 didn’t have a leaky ink stick. Won’t buy again.
When it comes to tactical pens, not just anything will do.
When you want quality and dependability at an alarmingly low price, take a look at the Hoffman Richter Stinger tactical pen.
Whether for its super strong glass breaker, its solid titanium-coated construction, its sophisticated and long lasting ballpoint, or any of its many other positives, we’re sure you won’t be disappointed with how the Hoffman Richter Stinger tactical pen operates.
